Amazon has today made its one-hour delivery option available to another area in the UK, now available in Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the city.

This is the first time the service has been launched outside of London, where it was first launched in back in June of this year.

As of yet Prime Now is not available across the whole of Greater London, and there’s still a long way to go to get the service available across the UK, however from today those who reside in Birmingham, Lichfield, Cannock or Tamworth will  be able to access the super quick delivery service.

Amazon has said that its fastest delivery took just 12 minutes from the point of ordering to the point of delivery since the Prime Now service first launched in the UK.

Amazon has yet to reveal if the Prime Now service will launch elsewhere in the UK, but we expect that it will hit major cities like Manchester at some point in the near future.

They also have yet to confirm recent rumours that they will be releasing the Amazon Fresh service in the UK.
