This week Amazon announced the launch of two new tablets, the Amazon Fire 7 and the Amazon Fire HD 8, which are a couple of new tablets that come with Amazon’s Alexa assistant installed.

They are follow up versions from the previous Fire and Fire HD devices, with some new specifications, not just Amazon Alexa support.

The Amazon Fire 7 also features a 7-inch display that has “lighter contrast and sharper text” according to Amazon, along with an improved battery life that can last for up to 8 hours.

The new Fire 7 also comes with 8GB of storage, with support for up to 256GB of expandable storage via a microSD card, and Wi-Fi connectivity in-built.

All of this will be available in the US for $49.99 or in the UK for £49.99.

The Fire HD 8 is a slightly bigger version of this, featuring an 8-inch HD display that takes advantage of 1 million pixels, features a quad-core processor, as up to 12 hours of battery life, 16GB of storage and supports 256GB more over a microSD card.

All that is available for $79.99 in the US or £79.99 in the UK.

You can pre-order both of these devices from Amazon today via the source link below, where you can also find out some more information about the tablets.
