It has today been revealed that Sony have teamed up with Amazon to provide another location for PlayStation owners to grab a game from, allowing them to purchase digital copies of PlayStation games online and get it delivered to their PlayStation 4 automatically, taking content directly from the PlayStation Network Store.

Its not just the PS4 however, as the new Amazon PlayStation Network Store will also allow users to purchase titles for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita, with access to various online deals that will be coming to in the future, as Kotaku explained in their article about the launch:

“The downside of going all digital for the next-gen consoles was going to be restricting yourself to only one storefront for potential deals, but now that’s not an issue. Sony already leaves its competitors in the dust when it comes to sales, especially with its Playstation Plus program, and adding Amazon’s deal muscle to the mix increases the potential savings exponentially.”

The Sony PlayStation 4 will launch on November 15th 2013 in the US and November 29th 2013 in Europe.
