Amazon has today launched Amazon Prime Instant Video in the UK, a service which is a rebranded version of the Lovefilm service and allows users to stream online video as part of the Amazon Prime series.

To mark this launch, Amazon have added a few new programmes to list of available content to stream, one of the biggest being the inclusion of exclusive streaming rights to Ripper Street, the critically acclaimed BBC drama series.

The deal will allow Amazon to stream exclusive episodes before the third series is shown on BBC1.

Alongside Ripper Street, Amazon have also added Alpha House and a selection of shows from Warner Bros TV including The Following, Arrow, Hostages, Revolution and The 100.

You can grab a 30 day trail for Amazon Prime Instant Video today, after which Amazon Prime costs £79 a year for the full service, allowing you to access Amazon Prime’s other services such as 1-day delivery and the book rental club.
