According to a recent report by The Verge, Amazon has begun sending out invites to a select number of customers to try their Kindle Fire HDX and many other devices for 30 days for free, detailing that customers may choose any device in the Amazon Kindle line-up which includes the Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire HDX and the HDX 8.9, after which the company will ship the users chosen tablet or e-reader to that customer free of charge.

After 30 days Amazon will charge that user the fee for the device via their credit card if not sent back, however the customer can send the device back at any time at Amazon’s cost, with no-upfront fees and no questions asked.

A pretty decent deal if you ask me.

As of yet, there’s no information on whether this deal is just for US customers, but a number of sites have contacted Amazon, so we should hear more on that soon.
