Amazon has been available in the US for quite some time, but was not released in Europe until earlier today where it is now taking submissions for apps to be distributed across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain with additional country’s to be added in the near future, it’s great to see that us folk in Europe can get a taste of what the US has had for months, but will this mean an eventual Kindle Fire release, hopefully it does as I am one how cannot wait to take a look at that device but have not had a chance to date, anyway if you are an Android developer and live in one of those countries check out Amazon’s submission page to get your app on the Amazon Appstore where you will now receive 70% of the list price rather than 70% of the apps sales or 20% of the list price, which means more money 🙂
