HTC has today announced that the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update has made its way to the HTC One in the UK, bringing the smartphone up to date with the latest enhancements and improvements from Google.

The update is available via an over the air update,, to do which head over to the settings menu, tap the about page and then check for software updates.

Some of the new features include enhancements to HTC Sense 5, as well as overall add-ons from Android 4.2.2. There’s also some enhancements to the launcher, widget panel arrangement, lock screen widgets, modified home button actions and the ability to remove the navigation menu bar.

Battery level can also now be shown from the status bar, and there’s a new AE/FE lock option for the camera alongside better handling of Zoe files and a selection of six additional video highlight themes.
