You may remember about a month ago we mentioned that the HTC One X and S handsets would be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, well that turned out not to be after only Singapore and Taiwan, with the rest of Asia and Europe left waiting patiently.

However don’t be to downhearted as it turns out that version of the OS have been shunned aside by the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update,.

Owners of the smartphone will be able to download the update over-the-air from today as you reside in either, UK, Russia, India, Argentina, Brazil or Peru, other regions will also be added soon according to a source at HTC.

You should receive an alert for the update, but if you don’t you can head over to Settings > Software Updates > Check Now, after which you will begin to download the 1.6MB file and then the 264.54 update.

Let us know if you have received the update yet in the comments below.
