According to recent reports, Google will be releasing their next Android update very soon.

This is as according to a report from Android Central which cited Vodafone Australia recent update advisory for the Google Nexus 6P, hinting at the release of Android 7.1.1 on December 5th.

This is what the site said:

Google Nexus 6P (Huawei) – Software update
From 5:00 PM AEST on 6 December 2016, Google will rollout a software update for the Nexus 6

As of yet, Google has not confirmed any release date details about the update just yet, however, since this is coming from Vodafone, we expect it to be likely to be true.

Once released, it should be available as an over-the-air update for the Google Nexus 6P and presumably the Nexus 5X, the Google Pixel, and the Google Pixel XL smartphones.

It will come along with Google’s December security update.

You can read more about it from Android Central’s post below.
