The thing that a lot of people don’t like about the Android Wear devices is that they are not compatible with platforms other than Android, meaning that if you were to switch to another device, or if you simply don’t like Android devices then you were unable to use any of those cool Android Wear smart watches.

One developer has got around that problem however by hacking Android Wear and enabling it to work with an iPhone.

According to the developer MohammadAG, he used the Motorola Moto 360 for his Android Wear device, and an iPhone 6 for the smartphone.

He also claims that he did this without jailbreaking the iPhone, and instead used Apple’s Notification Center service APIs to connect the two devices and show notifications from the iPhone on the Moto 360.
