The co-founder of Android, Andy Rubin unveiled hs new ‘Essential’ company some time ago, revealing that he will be unveiling a new product very soon.

Today is the day for that reveal and as expected, he unveiled a brand new smartphone called the Essential Phone.

Exclusive details about the device were given to The Verge, who reported that the Essential Phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.

It is also said to feature an edge-to-edge display, however, the resolution has not been revealed yet.

We do know that it will be made from a combination of titanium and ceramic and will feature a 13-megapixel dual camera setup on the back that can record 360-degree videos, along with an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

We also know that it will launch in the US for $699, however, that’s about it.
