AOC has today announced a great looking monitor, unveiled as part of its new Agon range, the new AG271QX is a 27-inch gaming monitor that features a TN panel with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution.

It also has a 1ms response time and a 144Hz refresh rate, with AMD FreeSync technology to smooth the graphics and minimise stuttering or tearing.

The new display has also been designed specifically for gamers, featuring a Low Input Lag mode that will remove the monitor’s image post-processing, which means your mouse and keyboard commands will happen on-screen with minimum delay.

This comes alongside the Shadow Control mode, which allows the contrast to be adjusted in very dark or light areas, without affecting normally-lit areas on the screen.

It also has a setting to cut down blue light to help minimise fatigue and reduce damage to your eyes.

Finally, there are also multiple picture preset modes that allow you to quickly switch between settings for the game that you are playing.

It also has a marked scale to allow the height to be set back to previous positions.

There’s also a carry handle and a headset holder at the side of the display.

The AOC AG271QX will be available in June for £479.
