Porsche Design regularly works with tech companies to launch versions of products that have been designed by them from smartphones up to watches.

Today AOC unveiled another addition to this line-up of Porsche Design products, revealing two new monitors that have been designed by the company in partnership.

These new monitors have been named the PDS241 and the PDS271 and measure 24 and 27 inches respectively.

Both of these monitors feature a similar design with a frame that is just 5.2mm thin but is only featured on one side of the monitor, with the other three remaining frameless.

This bezel features a metallic design that follows to the stand for the monitor, which has a C-shape bottom and a single bar to hold the monitor up.

In terms of specifications, both come with AH-IPS panels along with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

AOC explained more with the following:

The AOC PDS271 is equipped with a 27” AH-IPS panel, which delivers a 1080p resolution. Thanks to its modular design, PDS271 has no cables hanging out from its backside. Power and display connections run through its stable metal stand into a separate box. Its HDMI and power connections are divided in this box, where it is away from the onlookers’ line of sight. With this sleek appearance even from its backside, this monitor is very suitable for settings where the display’s backside is visible to multiple people.

AOC’s Supercolor WCG technology enables this monitor to achieve 100% sRGB and 90% NTSC colour gamut coverage. 4 ms GtG response time ensures fluid and smooth gameplay. Coupled with the wide 178° viewing angles achieved by its AH-IPS panel, PDS271 delivers accurate colours from any angle. AOC’s Flicker Free technology regulates the monitor’s brightness with a DC backlight system, reducing flicker and thereby relieving eye discomfort and fatigue experienced in longer usage. AOC’s Low Blue Light technology reduces harmful short wavelength blue light.

It is expected that these new AOC Porsche monitors will be released in June, the 24-inch is expected to be £180/ $240 and the 27-inch version is expected to be £259/$330.
