AOC unveiled a new monitor this week, called the AOC U289VF, it features an ultra wide 28-inch display that has a 3,840 x 2,160-pixel resolution at 60Hz, for around $400.

Not only do you get that display but you also get support for AMD’s FreeSync technology for smoother, stutter-free gameplay, with specs that include a 1ms response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 10-bit colour support and viewing angles of 178/170 degrees.

It also has connectivity for D-Sub, DVI, HDMI w/ MHL support and DisplayPort.

Unfortunately, there’s no USB ports or built-in speakers, and the stand doesn’t feature any ergonomic adjustment features.

That said, this monitor is definitely priced well given that it has 4K and FreeSync support, and if you are on a budget then it will certainly be a great option for you.
