A developer named  released a new GitHub project today that will bring Apple’s new TouchBar to the MacBook, via an app on the iPad.

It works by connecting an iPad to your Mac or MacBook and then loading up the app on that iPad to show a TouchBar interface, which you can interact with in a similar way to the actually TouchBar, it even seems to change as you move between apps.

It’s a pretty cool thing, however, it probably isn’t going to change your life, so don’t expect it to do much, think of it like a demo.
