So recently we posted an article about a video that claimed to leak the next iPhone early, and that was reportedly called the iPhone 6C, but now rumours are stating that it will not, in fact, be called the iPhone 6C.

This is as according to a report by 9to5Mac, who have this week claimed that they will instead be upgrading the iPhone 5S, with plans to release what is claimed to be the iPhone 5SE, which reportedly stands ‘special’, featuring enhanced specifications.

According to the report, it is codenamed the N69 internally, and will include a blend of the old and new designs, with new technologies inbuilt.

Sites are already expecting that it will have curved glass-like edges from the 6S, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, with an A8 and M8 chip from the iPhone 6.

Rumours also state that there will be an NFC chip, support for Bluetooth 4.2, VoLTE, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a barometer and headphone jack.

It will be available in silver, space grey and rose gold according to rumours.

We expect that Apple will unveil the iPhone 5SE sometime during an event which we expect to be scheduled in March.
