A few months ago Apple let the world know they will be expanding iOS 5+ notifications to the OS X Mountain Lion OS, and it looks like this will also be coming to your browser after some iCloud.com users have reported these notifications appearing at the top of their page as they browse.

The notifications that you can see in the image above have the same look as those on iOS, but so far we don’t think they were supposed to be published yet as the only notification you get Default Title for English notification with a test message description.

It makes you wonder however what will be coming in the near future from Apple, with their next WWDC event coming very soon, could we be seeing some form of browser-based apps from the company?
