Apple has today added some new flash storage options to the iMac range, now offering either a 256GB or a 512GB option.

The 256GB costs an additional £240 and the 512GB is £480 in the UK, if you live in the US, those prices change to $500 or $600 respectively.

This option has only been available in the form of the 768GB storage upgrade on the 27 inch iMac, but from today you can now pack an SSD into any of Apple’s Mac range, adding to the 1TB HDD and 1TB Fusion Drive options.
