As with all Apple events we always expect something brilliant to be released, with Apple being extremely secretive about what they do behind closed doors, it’s a great way of finding out wat they plan for the future.

This time, though Apple has followed what we already summed they would do, which is to release their very own textbook killer. The application called iBooks 2 is reportedly the “new textbook experience for the iPad.”, and will be available for you to download via the new textbooks category in your iBooks 2 application.

Apple has also stated this application will feature rich and exciting layouts, alongside some over amazing features, some of these include the ability to search within a textbook, highlighting, flash card features, as well as embedded animations, video, dictionary, and some extra interactive features.
