Apple have just announced some pretty huge changes to their executive team, announcing that Scott Forstall and John Browett will be leaving the company with Jony Ive, Bob Mansfield, Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi taking over their role.

Scott Forstall will leave the company next year during which he will serve as an advisor to the company’s CEO, TIm Cook as an interim, Jony Ive will also be taking over the Human Interface department to provide new leadership and direction.

Eddy Cue will be taking over Siri and Maps to place all of their online services into one group, Craig Federighi will also take the lead on both iOS and OS X both of Apple’s operating systems, to try to join the two even further.

Bob Mansfield will lead a new group named, Technologies which will combine all of Apple’s wireless team across the company, which will allow for further innovation, Alongside Scott Forstall, John Browett will also be leaving the company, after which the Retail team will report directly to Tim Cook until the company find a new head of retail.
