EnGadget are today reporting a new story sourced from Yahoo Japan that may mean Apple are actually going ahead with the iWatch.

Sourcing a new trademark that the company applied for, the Japanese application for the iWatch trademark was submitted in Japan on June 3rd, although it was only released on June 27th, the application may mean the Cupertino giants will soon release their own smartwatch.

This follows a previous application for an AMOLED device, that will be a sort of slap bracelet watch device, that will use kinetic energy to charge, with an end-detection user sensor.

Back in February, Bloomberg also suggested to around 100 Apple employees where already hard at work on the device, but with nothing official yet we will just have to wait and see.
