A lot of the time companies like Apple will file patents just for the sake of not getting there ideas taken, and this most recent one is probably for that same reason as it doesn’t seem like something Apple would do, allowing you to remove the back panel of your iPhone in order to change between camera lenses, alongside that the patent also describes a way of including two lenses in each corner, allowing you to simply turn the case over when you want to use a different lens. I’ve gotta say this is defiantly innovative, but personally I don’t think this one will every leave the filing cabinet, unless someone buys it from Apple.
