Apple has received some pretty bad press over these last couple of days after Gizmondo’s Twitter account was hacked and it turned out they were infact the ones who allowed to hackers in to do it, in response to this Apple are reportedly instituting a 24 hour freeze on over-the-phone iCloud password changes in order to figure out how to reform its security policies.

The new comes from Wired, who found the news from an unnamed Apple employee, Amazon who gave the hackers Honan’s credit card number, which the later used to falsely authenticate Honan’s identity over the phone, also has plans to crack down on their security later today.
