Sometimes getting out of the house can be a pain, especially when you have a problem with your computer and you don’t really want to trek all the way to the Apple Store to get it fixed, that’s probably why, after a short time of being offline this morning, Apple has launched a new online help service, which allows you to chat to an Apple Genius right from your computer.

Apple has described this service as “a whole new way to shop for an iPad or iPhone at the Apple Online Store,” one which allows you to “talk directly to a trained Specialist over the phone, start a live online chat and even watch your Specialist’s screen during a personalised guided tour.”

The new feature launched this morning in the UK, Germany, Spain and Brazil, but for some reason not in the US.

If you reside in one of those countries however, you can try the service out for yourself from today, just by heading to the Apple Online Store.
