This week both Tesco Bank and TSB announced that they support Apple’s Pay mobile payment service, allowing those in the UK with accounts to finally take advantage of the service.

If you are a customer of either bank then you can use the iOS Wallet application to scan your credit or debit card, then simply authenticate your account to get set up.

Both banks say that this entire process will take no longer than five minutes.

Tesco explains more:

To use Apple Pay you will need a Tesco Bank credit card featuring the MasterCard logo. Unfortunately Visa or Business credit cards are excluded.

You will also need an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s or 6s Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro or iPad mini 3 or 4 or an Apple Watch with iOS8.3 or later. To add your Tesco Bank credit card to your iPhone, open the Wallet app and follow the instructions. You’ll receive a one-time passcode from Tesco Bank that’s valid for three days. Once you enter the passcode, you’re ready to shop.
