Apple has today officially refreshed its iPod family, with new changes to the iPod Touch, the iPod Shuffle and the iPod Nano, bringing new colours and hardware.

The main change is with the iPod Touch, now featuring a 64-bit processor, 8 megapixel camera, a co-processor for motion tracking, iOS 8.4 pre-installed and 128GB of storage.

“iPod touch gives customers around the world access to Apple Music, the App Store and iOS, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, starting at just $199,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of iPhone, iPod and iOS Product Marketing. “With big advancements like the A8 chip and the 8 megapixel iSight camera, customers can experience next-level gameplay, take even more beautiful photos and enjoy their favorite music, TV shows and movies.”

The new iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle have also been updated with a new colour range, now available in gold, a darker blue, space grey, silver, red and pink. The iPod Touch is also available in these colours.

The new iPod Touch will start at £159/ $199 for the 16GB model, £199/ $249 for the 32GB model and £249/ $299 for the 64GB model. There will also be a 128GB model of the iPod Touch available for £329/ $399.

The new iPod Nano will be available with 16GB of storage for £129, and the new iPod Shuffle will be available with 2GB of storage for £40.
