Ahead of its official release, Apple has released the fifth beta of their macOS Sierra 10.12.5 operating system, marking yet another milestone towards the final version of the new version.

Called macOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta 5, it was released to those who are registered to Apple’s Developer Program as well as to those who have subscribed to their public beta testing program this week.

We don’t really know what the beta includes just yet as no details have been mentioned in the update but it is likely to simply be a set of performance improvements and bug fixes.

If you are interested in trying it out then you can download it from Apple’s Developer Portal today, or you can register for their public beta program to get a download of the new operating system on your Mac.
