After reports were issued that the latest iOS 6.1 software update for iOS devices was causing some problems with overheating and incorrect battery percentages, Apple has today released the 6.1.1 update to all users.

Previously the update was only available for developers on the platform, but Apple is now allowing day-to-day users the ability to download the update either over-the-air or via iTunes.

Let us know in the comments below if the update has actually worked.
