In our opinion it was always a weird move for Apple to keep the iPad 2 over their 4th generation iPad when they announced the iPad Air, it just seemed too weird for us to compute. Thankfully Apple have now rectified that move, removing the iPad 2 from their online store and replacing it with the 4th generation iPad with Retina display.

Now available from Apple’s website, the 4th generation iPad can now be purchased for £329 in the UK or $399 in the US, for which you get similar specifications to what was available when the 4th gen iPad was first announced, but with a few added features.

Features which now feature a new A6x processor alongside the same 9.7 inch display, 16GB of storage, and a 1080p 5 megapixel rear facing camera.

There is also a WiFi + Cellular version available for £429 in the UK.
