Apple has today unveiled what is the biggest iPad that they have created so far, called the iPad Pro it features a huge display with desktop-class performance.

The new iPhone is 1.8 times faster than the iPad Air 2, featuring a 64-bit A9X processor, Apple says this is faster than 80 per cent of the portable PCs that were shipped in the last few months.

The display is also sized at 12.9 inches, with a 2,732 x 2,048 pixel resolution, with 164ppi, which is more than the 15 inch MacBook Pro with Retina. The display also features a variable refresh rate to save power.

The iPad also has 10 hours of battery, with four speakers that has three times the volume of the iPad 2.

All of this is crammed into the iPad Pro which is 6.9mm thin and weighs 710 grams.

Apple also unveiled a dedicated physical iPad Pro keyboard that has a Smart Connector for power and data connections magnetically. With an Apple Pencil stylus that works with the display and can be charged by plugging it directly into the iPad Pro via the Lightning port.

Apple has teamed up with Microsoft and Adobe to add integrations with this for Office and Adobe’s apps.

Pricing is 32GB at $799, 128GB at $959 and 128GB plus LTE for $1,079.

Apple Pencil will be $99 and the Smart Keyboard will cost $169. They will all land in November.
