Just after Google’s I/O conference yesterday, Apple have today announced that they have updated iTunes to the new software version, 11.0.3, with a few new features, the main one being a new look for the MiniPlayer.

The MiniPlayer was first introduced iTunes 11 and offers a new smaller way to control music, and with the new version, there’s two new views, an album artwork view and a progress bar view, both of which featured in the image above.

Alongside the new look, there’s also support for multi-disc albums, as well as a few new performance improvements when searching and sorting iTunes libraries.

The update is available from the Software Update application on Mac, or via the iTunes website.
