Apples and Samsung’s legal battles have defiantly been the biggest talking point of the year when it comes to court cases, so far neither company is losing or winning but that’s all about to change as Apple won their case the US to temporarily stop sales of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 within the US, the US District Judge Lucy Koh wrote this about the case:

“While Samsung will certainly suffer lost sales from the issuance of an injunction, the hardship to Apple of having to directly compete with Samsung’s infringing products outweighs Samsung’s harm in light of the previous findings by the Court,”

As part of this Apple will now have to post a $2.6 million bond in case Samsung proves their tablet not to be infringing upon Apples patent.

We will have more details as this develops but in the meantime check out the ruling document below for more information.
