There’s only just over an hour till the Apple event later today, but Apple have only just announced that they will be streaming the whole event over the web, after announcing they would be streaming it to the Apple TV earlier.

In order to watch however, there a few conditions, mainly involving the condition of owning an Apple device.

Basically you either need a Mac with Safari 4 or higher on OS X 10.6 or above, or an iOS device that’s running iOS 4.2 or above. For the Apple TV you need to be running on 5.0.2 or above.

The event will kick off at 6PM UK time, or rather 10AM Pacific time, and is where we expect that Apple will announce the new iPad 5 and an iPad Mini 2, with a new 64-bit A7 processor in both, the new versions are said to include Apple’s new Touch ID technology, and will apparently feature some new screen sizes and display technology, with the possibility of a Retina iPad Mini.

We also expect to see some upgrades to the MacBook line, as well as a recap on OS X Mavericks and the Mac Pro.
