Weirdly Apple’s platform security team manager, Dallas De Atley will be speaking at this years Black Hat Conference, which is the first time Apple has ever made an appearance at the event.

The talk will take part on Thursday and will see De Atley talk about security technologies on the iOS platform, which makes for the first time in 4 years that Apple’s marketing department have approved the event.

This makes for interesting news, especially in the light of a number of security breaches against the company’s Mobile OS and computer software, which started with the Flashback trojan which infected around 600,000 Macs around the world sometime a couple of months ago, and then more recently the in-app purchases hack.

It will be interesting to see what is said at the talk.
