Extending their tablet line-up, Archos has this week announced their new Archos 101 XS 2 tablet, which will launch sometime next month and will feature a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, with a Mali 400 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The tablet also features a 10.1 inch inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, and will come supplied with a keyboard cover alongside Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 2 megapixel front and back camera that can record full 1080p video.

There’s also 16GB of in-built storage with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, support for WiFi direct, a miniHMDI output, and a microUSB 2.0 port.

The Archos 101 XS 2 will be available for £250 in the UK and $279 in the US.
