Archos has this week announced a new phone for release, called the Diamond Plus it features a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS display, an octa-core Mediatek processor and 2GB of RAM.

It also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, with 16GB of on-board storage and support for extra expansion via its microSD card slot.

On top of all that it also has a 16 megapixel sensor on the back of the phone, with an 8 megapixel front-facing camera, 2,850mAh battery.

It is also compatible with LTE and dual-SIM.
