Archos has this week announced yet another way for you to play your games on the game, ready to play Android games, the GamePad 2 is similar to last years GamePad, the GamePad 2 is in a similar category to that of the NVIDIA Shield and the Ouya.

There’s several improvements with the GamePad 2, with a 7 inch screen it features an IPS display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution, as well as a quad-core Mali 400 graphics processing unit, quad-core 1.6GHz A9 processor, 2GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage.

Both of the versions are expandable with a microSD card and front facing camera, and are also running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The Archos GamePad 2 will be available by the end of October for $250.
