In a turn of quiet events, Archos has unveiled its newest member to the Arnova family, named the GBook, packing a 7 inch screen this tablet/ eReader combo was revealed earlier today without a hint of a press release or even an official announcement.

The new tablet will run on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS, packing a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 1GBs of RAM and 4GBs of in-built storage, the 7 inch screen also has a resolution of 800 x 480 but can play 1080p videos.

Alongside videos, the new tablet also supports both EPUB and PDF, including those which use Adobe’s DRM, there’s no news on pricing or a release date just yet, but we will be sure to let you know, in the meantime check out the gallery and source link below for more information.
