Today Archos unveiled a few new smartphones during the IFA 2016 event.
One of the first devices was the Archos 55 Diamond Selfie, which features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a focus on selfies, Qualcomm octo-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It also features Dragontrail reinforced glass, a scratch resistant backing, and a few metal details.
The smartphone also features two cameras, a 16MP one with a LED flash on the back and an 8MP on the front.
You can also expand the phone’s storage up to 128GB via a microSD card. with 4G/LTE connectivity, a fingerprint sensor and a 3,000mAh battery that claims to last an entire day.
But when it does run out, you can recharge it with Qualcomm Quick Charge technology. To finish it off, the Diamond Selfie has a gyroscope so that you can use it with VR glasses, or fly a drone, as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed.
It will be available worldwide in September 2016 for £199.90. Or for £169.90 for the version with just 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage when it is available in October 2016.
Archos also unveiled the Archos 55 Helium Ultra, which features a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 5.5-inch HD IPS display that has a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution.
The smartphone also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 128GB, with two SIM card slot, 4G/LTE connectivity, an 8MP camera with autofocus and an LED flash on the back and a 2MP camera on the front.
On top of that, there’s also a 2,700mAh removable battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.
The Archos 55 Helium with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage will be available in September for £89, the Archos 55 Helium Ultra with 3GB of RAm and 32GB of storage will be available in October for £119, and the Archos 55 Helium 3 Season with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage will be available in October for £100.
Finally, Archos unveiled the Archos 50f Helium, which features a HD display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 4G/LTE connectivity, a fingerprint sensor and Android 6.0 pre-installed.
The smartphone also comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display with a 1,280 x 720-pixel resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and the ability to expand the storage up to 128GB with a microSD card.
It also comes with an 8MP camera that has autofocus and an LED flash on the back, a 2MP on the front, a 2,000mAh removable battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.
