Archos has today unveiled a couple of new Helium branded smartphones ahead of their planned preview at CES 2014 next week.

The first will be dubbed the 50 Helium, as the higher end device, it features a 5 inch display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage, an Adreno 305 GPU, microSD card slot for expansion, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording and an LED flash.

The second is the 45 Helium, featuring a 4.5 inch display with an 854 x 480 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal storage, a 1,750mAh battery, a VGA front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording and an LED flash.

Both of the handsets will also run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (with Android 4.4 KitKat coming soon after launch), a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 processor, 1GB of RAM, Adreno 305 graphics, microSD card slot expansion, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS with GLONASS, and microUSB port.

Both will also be available in both Europe and the US priced at £199.99 for the Archos 45 Helium and £239.99 for the Archos 50 Helium, however no release date has been announced yet.
