CES 2015 is nearly upon us, but before it hits we have a fe pre-announcements for you, the first of those is the recent announcement from Archos who revealed a new set of budget-friendly 4G smartphones and a number of new tablets with LTE connectivity.

The first of the new products is the Archos 50 Diamond, priced at around £200, the smartphone features a 5 inch display with a 1080p resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and 2GB of RAM.

On the back there’s also a 16MP camera, and on the front there’s an 8MP front-facing camera, inside you will also find a 2,700 mAh battery alongside a slot for a microSD card.

The smartphone will also run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

??Alongside the Archos 50 Diamond, Archos also announced a set of new tablets including the 70 Helium 4G, 80b Helium 4G, and 101 Helium 4G.

The 70 Helium has a 7-inch display, the 80b Helium is an 8-inch and the 101 Helium is a 10-inch device. The smaller tablets also have a 2MP camera, whilst the 10-inch device features a 5MP one, the 70 Helium also has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and 2,500 mAh battery, the 80b Helium 4G features a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution with a 3,600 mAh battery, whilst the 10-inch tablet has the same resolution as the 80b but with a 6,500 mAh battery.

As of yet there’s no news on the exact pricing or availability for any of the devices.
