Canon have today announced that they have decided to discontinue the EOS 5D MK II in order to concentrate on the MK III, a move which is defiantly expected news to us, but indeed not good news.

However the camera might now be a good buy for anyone looking for a budget DSLR, and currently you can pick up the camera for around £1600 down from £2300, however if you have the dough you can pick up the 5D MK III for £2200.

The 5D MK II will defiantly be missed.
