We have all at some point come in contact with some sort of hack, all be it the massive PSN hack a couple of years ago, or the large number of World of Warcraft user hacks, and after the Guild Wars 2 hack earlier last year, ArenaNet has decided to make some changes.

The games developer has issued a mandatory password change for Guild Wars 2, enforced on all players starting from February 7th 2013.

However this may not be as easy as it sounds as the developer has built a blacklist of passwords that cannot be used, as these are known passwords known to be used by hackers to scan for hackable accounts.
