After recently reaching its 8th anniversary, YouTube has this week announced a new service called YouTube Pro.

For which you probably shouldn’t be fooled by its name, as the service is not one for subscriptions, it has actually been designed to help users transform their channels from a hobby to something more professional.

YouTube explains the new service with the following statement:

“How do you turn your YouTube channel into a full-time gig? Starting this week, get the answers from our new video series, YouTube Pro. We’ve bringing together top YouTube creators to answer your burning questions on everything from crowdfunding and working with advertisers to finding a manager and running your own web series.”
