After a set of press images leaked for the Nvidia Tegra Tab, we got our first hint that Nvidia may be looking into launching its own 7 inch tablet, and now those rumors are being reinforced with the leak of some benchmarks.

Tested in China, the benchmarks show how the tablet performs, marked as the “TegraTab7-Premium” the device achieved a massive 27.643 score, which is a lot better than some of the best tablets and smartphones around today.

Expected to feature a Tegra 4 chipset with 1.8GHz speeds, and running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a 7 inch display packing a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, HDMI output, microSD slot and support for a stylus.

It’s also said that the tab will include a 5 megapixel camera.

Of course, with nothing official yet, this should all be taken with a grain of salt.
