According to some specs that leaked earlier today the Amazon Kindle Fire HD will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display.

Alongside that the rumors from the leaked benchmark also suggest that the tablet will run on Android 4.2.2 and will come in 8.9 inch model, which could result in a much higher pixel density than the Nexus 10.

However this is all yet to be confirmed, although rumors do suggest that we might not have to wait longer to get the official details, suggesting that Amazon will announce the tablet at their IFA 2013 trade show in early September.

Which if true could mean a of announcements coming our way in September.
