Asus has this week announced the launch of a special edition ZenFone 2 that features a designed back panel and a massive 256GB of internal storage.

The handset is called the ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition and is set to be released next month.

When it is released you will be able to pick up the Special Edition handset in a polygonal pattern backplate in either Drift Silver or Carbon Night with the massive 256GB of internal storage.

When the ZenFone 2 first launched it had a max storage option of 128GB, so that is quite the upgrade.

It also features a 5.5 inch 1080p display, an Intel Atom processor, 4GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and more.

The only problem is that up to now Asus has only announced that the special edition of the ZenFone 2 will be available in Brazil, despite the ZenFone 2 originally being available in the US.

If Asus do announce further availability for other markets around the world we will let you know.
