Asus has today announced yet another couple of products at Computex today, the first of which is the VivoPC, a new Windows 8 mini PC, it has a small aluminum chassis, sized at 190 x 190 x 36.2mm, it has been designed to be a media PC with SonicMaster speakers in-built, it can stream content via the 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity and can be connected to a home cinema system.
And with a sliding top design, a 3.5 or 2.5 inch SATA hard drive can be inserted both quickly and easily, and inside the VivoPC there”s Intel HD graphics with two USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, 2 audio jacks, a pair of HDMI outputs and a VGA connector.
To accompany the VivoPC, Asus also announced the VivoMouse, which combines both a full touchscreen and a wireless remote, as well as of course, being an actual mouse, it has been designed with the same sort of aluminum design.
The touchpad can be found at the top of the mouse, and has been designed specifically for use with Windows 8 with multi-touch gestures in mouse, and it can also be used as a normal mouse.
There’s no news on pricing just yet, however Asus have said that the VivoMouse is expected for Q3.
