Asus has today announced what they are claiming to be the world’s slimmest 13.3 inch laptop at IFA 2014. Dubbed the Zenbook UX305, it features an aluminium chassis and measures just 12.3mm thick, with a tapered wedge design.

The laptop also only weighs 1.2kg, and featuress an Intel Core M processor, with a 13.3 inch display that has a 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution and a 256GB SSD drive.

The processor can also be either an i7 or an i5 depending on the user choice, and the hard drive can be increased to 500GB.

The laptop will be available in either Obsidian Stone, or in Ceramic Allot shade.

As of yet pricing has not been confirmed for the laptop, but it is expected to hit stores before Christmas.
