Ahead of their press conference at CES 2017 on Wednesday, January 4th, it seems that ASUS’ latest smartphone has been leaked.
Reportedly called the ZenFone AR, it was posted by the chip-maker Qualcomm in a blog post earlier today, leaking some specs which suggest that it will pack the new Snapdragon 821 processor.
And now, the avid leakster, Evan Blass has posted a reported image of the smartphone on his Twitter account.

According to reports, the ZenPhone AR will be one of the first smartphones to ship with both Tango and Daydream functionality, making it the second smartphone to have Tango inbuilt, coming after the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.
With Tango, it will be able to access a number of augmented and virtual reality programs that brings content to life in the real-world. Daydream expands upon that with Google’s Daydream software, providing access to better virtual reality experiences that have been developed just fro Daydream devices.
We haven’t heard anything official about the ZenFone AR yet, but when we do we will let you know.
We expect this will be ASUS’ announcement at CES 2017, so expect to hear more later on in the week.
